I think I'm going to start jumping on the BD bandwagon with some IP4 for the ditch lights and IP6 for the front end make over.

Still going to rock the rigid fogs but upgrade to their new round ones. Rigid is just better as far as the sae fogs. I don't need the crazy amount of lights y'all are adding. BD makes the most appealing lights out there and are on top for that stuff.

Don't mean to bust your bubble but you'll be greasing those at least once a month and after every wheeling trip, I would recc. They aren't sealed and don't have the tight tolerances that uniballs have. I'm having to rebuild mine already at ~30k miles.

 

I've heard the uniballs that come with the Icon billet UCAs are even more sensitive about needed to be cleaned/greased ... so at least these are supposed to be stronger.

 

Yeah idk about the Icon uniballs unless they just go with some cheap ones or something. The deltas have no boot just a couple of helical cut groves to excavate the grit and grime out of the ball joint. There isn't really a good fit to keep it out. Also moisture and water easily gets into them and can be somewhat trapped. I greased mine after every wheeling trip and at least once a month they still squeaked quite a bit fairly often and I would have to regrease them. Those helical grooves are not only good for getting stuff out like your grease but also a pathway for contaminants. Just don't think they were thought all the way through. Now if they used an old school Chrysler screw in ball joint that had the extra angle ability and a boot I think that would be better and closer to what the JBAs offer. JBA using a ball joint with a GM foot print is really nice if you need one because it broke you can get one relatively easily
