Hey TO, was traveling in late October and lost contact for a bit with the site. Thanks for asking! I’ve been reading up on this thread the past few days trying to catch up (still 25 pages back).
Health is mostly getting better. Still in remission, so that’s good. Starting to work a bit more, too, and am about 50% time right now.
In truck related news, back on Nov. 9 I got a new front bumper and will post some pics soon. But people may be able to find photos on BAMF site sometime soon as we took the opportunity to use my truck as model for installing the new turd gen bumper. I think it looks pretty good, although now everything else needs upgraded to look better, haha.

My wife told me I can't talk to you anymore, then I explained you told us about the taco truck and she said it's ok now. I'm so confused!

Got notification from the State board that I passed the California-Specific Exam for Professional Geologists, and that I'll receive my license number and information in a few weeks. Hell of a weight off my shoulders, and now I don't need to blow vacation time to create time to study. Now to plan some trips!

I got a trip for ya. I know a few spots that are awesome geologically. Also a few mines that I may or may not have access to.

    Congratulations!

I know how you feel. I passed the civil PE after what felt like a year of studying in all my free time. Worth it though not to have to take it twice!

Congrats Bro! Quite the accomplishment! I remember my sister took the Civil exams and disappeared for damn near a year. I guess she’s taking her seismic structural(?) exam in a week. She’s been studying for months I guess.
