I’ve been very impressed by these in the snow as well. I thought it was going to be terrible but they actually do a really good job.

Yes, I love these Yokohamas. They’re a win-win-win over the ST Maxx’s. The tread is more aggressive, they’re quieter and they ride better.

255/85s on yesterday. Snagged one quick pic.

They ride well. A touch noisier than the worn 295 Generals that came off. They feel about the same weight (they are), though acceleration off the line is a bit improved. They certainly fit these 7" wide rims far better than the 295s. I am pleased. Cant wait to get off pavement.

Funny you say that. I was originally going to go with the st maxx in this size but after reading so many reports of the tires pulling on the highway I decided to go with these.

How's the ride? What's your suspension set up?

I haven’t had them off-road yet but on the road they seem great so far. They track straight no pulling, no vibes at any speeds. Road noise is not bad at all, actually my roof rack makes more noticeable noise than the tires. The truck is completely stock, stock suspension.

What kind of pressures are folks running with these? Chalk test?

FWIW, I chalk tested my 265/75r16s and ended up at 37F/34R.

And the ride is ok at those pressures?

It's not bad. I don't really think these have the stiffest sidewalls to begin with.

I have mine all at 36 PSI and I think they ride really comfortable. My ST Maxx’s at 30 PSI were pretty unforgiving.

This is music to my ears. The ST MAXX are starting to wear me down.

They are totally worth it off road though, I enjoy the protection on the rocks in KY. They are pretty unforgiving and often sharp
