Got out on a trail just 30 min from my house that I thought was closed all these years, turns out you just needed to drop by the Ranger station and get the code for the gate lock

It's just an easy fire road that goes for 25 miles across the top of the mountains outside our town, nothing technical at all but still nice to know it's nearby for a quick fix.

And a good opportunity to get a couple photos of the new bumper and skid :D

Yeah it was cool except toward the top you couldn't see anything through the cloud cover. On one side is LA so it's not like I want to see that part anyway lol. But to the east is nothing but mountain cover

We'll, technically you didn't fly out the other side. A wall stopped you. At least that's what I remember from your posts. Could be mistaken though.

Lol, they've grown on me. Same with the ugly white wagon wheels. They've grown on me as well. I accept and appreciate them for what they are, part of Land Cruiser history :D
But bronze with maroon or red... :drool:gotta look good. As long as it's a quality wheel we're talking.
Lipstick on a pig.... Ain't nobody got time for that

@cruiserguy I took the Taco out for a drive and floored it. LOD jumped up to 96 and hauled ass.

Damn. I think I'm plugged up then somewhere, from what I'm reading. I was thinking the TPS could be messing with me but I'm still cable driven being 2000. Could be the cat I guess? The intake manifold runners being plugged up could also affect that I think? Mine have to be bad, might need to plan on a little partially tear down and also plan on adjusting the valves while cleaning out that crap.
