Has to be dirt for sure because you can see in one of the vid the front wheel just shacks for no reason! Dirt!

Could be dirt, oil from the cars or could just be a slick turn. There is a corner by my house that is slick every day of the year and if you lean into it you pucker fast.

Could be hard rubber - worn out tires - or just plain lack of understanding that physics is still alive and well!!!!

I love the idea but am soooooooooooooo glad I am out of that phase of my life.... Just lost a buddy that lost his leg due to a 17 year old pulling out in front of him.... Give me roll cage or air bags from here on in!!! :)

Knee pucks makin people too brave and agree with Paul about slick tires/maybe not scrubbed in enough. Could also be dirt as mentioned before too. Sounds like poor throttle control in the first vid

Yea could be, My buddy got nailed last week, snaped his back, shatered his wrist and elbow, broke three ribs and a nose. Never going to walk again. My bike has been parked since.

Happy ridding to the rest of you.

Looks like they are in the middle of the lane which is a no no, stay out of the damn oil from cars, especially on a hot day.

It amazes me how many folks don't take the tire tracks - ALL THE TIME!!! Especially when they don't ride driver's side tire lane while on the freeway - missing nearly every driver's visable cone... watch a CHP or local cop if you want to live! :)

looks like a combination of slick road surface and bad throttle control. at least 2 of those crashes you can see them blip the throttle just as they start to loos traction.

    safe riding fellas!

Sorry if I missed it, but why does everyone stand around filming that corner, is it that popular of a wipe out zone, are these people hoping for a good fall to post on you tube? Seems weird!
