thanks! i was just astonished at the amount of battery terminal corrosion on this truck when I opened the hood and started detail onit.
NEVER have i had any issues of this sort on my 1st gen battery, on my 3rd battery now.
but maybe it is because i use the little battery pads that prevent that from happening, i think they are the BG post pads but I am not sure anymore, they have probably been on there for more than a decade unless sears put new ones on last time i need a battery about 5 years ago
    have you heard of those?

    '97 battry hold down.jpg
there is also one on the + terminal but this picture does not show it

Why don't you get one of those flipper things like @Sociopenguin has for your license plate?

Also see you didn't mess with the snorkel for Christmas.

I would get one. Makes things easier and cleaner looking... License plate could also block some debris and dirt from getting onto the winch hooks and stuff.

At least until KS/MO change their dumb minds about the law and stop wasting money creating a 2nd plate.

I wish federal would regulate plates. Front or not, it gets old.

Hope they do away with PPT too. It's ridiculous to pay so much at the end of the year.

Got some friends more concerned with doing away with 2 year inspections instead. Hell no, make sure your car is fixed and isn't going to kill anyone else on the road. Inspections aren't a problem.

    Right?

Until Missouri legalizes marijuana and sees the revenue come in from that. Things will change right quick. We'll definitely see medical marijuana making an impact once they get it going.

Oh, hot take. So, I don't mind inspections as a whole because I think it's a good way for people who don't check up on their cars to know if somethings awry
That being said, anyone with a super fucked up car knows a guy that'll pass him anyways. So I don't think it protects anyone outwardly, just like old people intrinsically. So I'm pretty neutral on the topic myself

Property taxes being due during Christmas time is bullshit though. I'm going to be sad when my car isn't a $40 check to big daddy government anymore. At least this year I didn't have to call two counties and explain that I had only had a car for a couple of years and waste my time in line at the DMV like three separate times at the ass end of December while trying to close on a house. Having a permanent address for the first time in 3 years has been sooooo nice.

That money doesn't get to go just anywhere though; they've already chosen what that revenue specifically goes towards. Pretty sure it's for veteran's care, I don't remember what the ballot said.

if NE had vehicle inspections the old Corolla would not pass with a fuel tank leak!
its too darn cold to attempt to fix that and the Tacoma comes first always has

went to the used lot at Corwin Toyota in Bellevue NE to look at used vehicles and could not find one MT on the lot of any kind!

You’ll have better luck searching auto trader. The odds of going to a lot and finding a MT sitting there are pretty slim
