it rained on the way home :D

However, it did not rain back up once at grade so my undercarriage is still caked in layers of mud

Felt a couple pounds drop off on the way home :anonymous:

I may not have a lot of experience with recoveries but I have helped quite a few people get unstuck on trail runs but this, this was on a whole new level.

The clay and mud was something else. @Cristiang19 truck was mired good and without a working transfer case it was going to take lots of work. We got to an area and decided to scout it out and as we walked the path we realized quite quickly that driving down was probably going to result in more rigs stuck and hanging to recover those.

We opted to let @Bobtaco be the recovery vehicle and after lots of shoveling, digging, jacking, etc the sloppy taco was freed.

This shit was so slick steering was a mute point and totally optional at some points!

Glad you decided to stop lurking and come out. I seriously like your rig. Like you said someone else (Rob, Josh, etc )would have stepped up and did what you did, but your rig performed great today.

    Today was a good day.

Big ups to Rob for coordinating.

Thanks for the shout out but the work put in by all those on the shovels, max tracks, boards, rocks, radios, coordination and managing the cables and straps is really the teamwork that allowed this to happen.

well it was very confidence inspiring that there were so many cool people with built rigs there to support. I would have been more reluctant to head down there alone.
