What is in your cordless arsenal now ? Like i have a ton of cordless DeWalt stuff. I have 8 20v batteries due to what I do for a living so the obvious choice for me was DeWalt for an impact. However , if you dont currently have any cordless tools and you are just starting out with a brand Milwaukee is an excellent tool. Im partial to DeWalt because of my work. Dont go cheap in my experience.....DeWalt and Milwaukee will last and they use quality batteries in their battery packs. Some of the "store" branded tools dont use the best batteries with high *mah*. A good impact is a game changer , good luck with it....especially in the winter time , lol. Busted knuckles in the winter just SUX

I only use Makita circular saws !!! I love Dewalt for most things but Makita makes one helluva saw.

I've got a Makita rail saw, and an 18v cordless circ (which is better than you'd expect), but I'm not doing rough carpentry much, so that's the extent of it. My Makita compound miter must be 20 years old. It's been replaced by a big Hitachi.

I always say... Friends don't let friends use yellow tools. lol
Dewilt is fine. But not my preference. With one big exception... the Yellow tile saw is really good kit for the money.

My cordless arsenal is nonexistent. Im not looking to spend a ton because I doubt it’s something I’ll be using everyday. I’ll just be using it on my truck occasionally. I’d like to stay less than $300 if possible.

I don't know about that one, but I have this
DEWALT DCF899HB 20V MAX XR Brushless High Torque 1/2" Impact Wrench with Hog Ring Anvil https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00WTQW7JA/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apap_tEUIqhW3qXmXu
I'm pretty sure I could twist the studs clean off with it.

Milwaukee - was one of the best Christmas presents ever (the medium torque version). Don't know how I lived without one all these years.

    Agree.

I went for the 650 model in 1/2" drive and I was able to remove some nasty, seized bolts off a junkyard Tacoma easily.

Home Depot will often have sales on their batteries as well.

It's really easy as the difference between the models are the torque rating, the drive size, and blue tooth capabilities (really meant for heavy use and business).

    I went with a 650.

I have a Milwaukee mid torque that spins off u bolts and axle nuts with out too much issue.
This mid torque is also more compact than a lot of the others. It’ll fit into tighter spaces.
It has three settings. I use the lower settings m for putting nuts back on after hand starting and before using the torque wrench. This is great for lug nuts.

I also have a Milwaukee m18 drill, spotlight,2 gallon shop vac and angle grinder.

    All work really well.

A lot people confuse the specs...pay attention to whether the tool is rated in inch pounds or foot pounds.

Been meaning to buy the shop vac, but I keep missing the sale or they never have it in stock.

    How do you like it?

Got a Milwaukee M18 1/2” last year and I love it! I haven’t done anything on the truck with it but rotate tires. ( I mostly used it to take lugs off and to just get them snug, I did torque them on with a torque wrench) I have found several other uses for it though. another reason I got the M18 is because of all the other tools you can get that use the same battery. I got the grease gun in late summer and love it, I did buy it without a battery because I already have two.
