did you see the controlled test with FF from Minnesota TW member, who lives in the extreme harshest of enviroments

i am thinking of doing my own testing with the steel wool like they used

just have to formulate some nasty chemicals

 

much of Minnesota and northern Wisconsin, probably the U.P. as well, has a problem with their roads not naturally thawing from the earth's heat i heard
their soil and earth underneath makeup blocks it!

Naturally aspirated z31 do not have a knock sensor. Their timing map is completely locked, and pretty conservative.

Also kind of neat is the z31 turbos which did have a knock sensor put it on the outside of the engine underneath the exhaust manifold so you could change it in the car without removing the intake manifold

Although we have definitely done that knock sensor trick on a vg30e in a Pathfinder once. I like those new flat response knock sensors they're so small and they have a low failure rate

 

So youre gonna take the advice of one dude, with zero info to back up his claim?

The frame of the 92 was coated with rustoleum from 2004 on. Rust didnt begin to show through until maybe 12 years later. Ive had it on my 04 for 2 years now, still looks brand new.

61 degrees in Tucson at the moment. Might have to pull out a sweatshirt, it's a little chilly still.

looks like the ground there is still relatively warm and melting it quickly and no ice!

 

That was the snow-acalypse we had this time last year. 22ish inches. That pic doesnt show it that well though. Most NC had gotten since Ive been alive.

The rule for NC snow is if the storm comes from the south, its gonna be bad. From the north, maybe a dusting.
