Got the impact extensions. One of the holes where the ball on the socket engages was drilled a little off. Not a big deal, still an great value at about $7

Even with an in-store order its hit and miss. When I bought my toolbox they didn’t have one in stock at the time, told me the next shipment was expected in 3 weeks. I paid, and they called 4 days later and said it was ready to pick up.

Alternatively I’ve seen online where they were told it’d be a week, and it actually took several weeks, in some cases over a month. For a toolbox I don’t have an urgent need for this isn’t a problem for me, but HF (for me) is a last resort store. I don’t stick my nose up at some of their hand tools which as we know are well reviewed (like the Pro impact sockets), but I wouldn’t consider myself a HF customer. I get their good stuff occasionally or I get stuff that’s a good value, like the $23 grinder I only need for one task and have no regular need for. For the odd job their prices are appealing, but they’re way behind in the times when it comes to inventory tracking and online or in-store ordering, and sometimes the appeal of price isn’t enough to deal with their horrible logistics.

This is true. Online is in need of a major overhaul. Slowly things are happening though. Up until this year, we shipped everything that was an online order, except items that required a truck delivery, from Camarillo CA. Didn’t matter if you lived in Maine. Everything came from California and only the oversized items, the truck items, came from our DC in Dillon, South Carolina.

Camarillo DC is now closed replaced by Moreno Valley, which does close to half of our retail shipping to stores. So...still primarily a retail DC. Making online at both DCs a priority is a change for them. The rest of the retail still comes from Dillon, SC.

There is future plans to do half online from each DC like retail but the infrastructure and process is still in progress.

    we’ll get there.

I’ve painted 6 cars with this gun and I’ve rebuilt probably 30 of them. No issues. There are better guns, obviously, but absolutely would recommend. Used my first one in 2001.

They’re decent guns with a filter and air dryer. I use them 2-3 times at most as long as I clean it super well. Just sprayed two axles with steel it and that stuff drys super fast so I just tossed it. Painted my bed and doors though with it.
