and here she is with the rear 1/4 bar installed had to do a lot of grinding for this to fit over the weld that held the winch plate. it sucked.

and a couple of 45's on a side note after about 6 years and 100's of pounds of wire i think i have about welded the linner out of my welding torch. anyone done this? it is feeling like the welder is haveing to try a lot harder to push the wire through

and here is the final thing i got done today, i think that this spot is the most likly to take a serious hit offroad. so I am trying to brace it up, the bumper has gotten a lot heavier 10 lbs of welding wire, i couldn't believe that.
this will have 2 more supports running down from the 1/4 inch bar stock to the bottom edge of the bumper, i think this will make it much much stronger to hits.

you and me both i can't wait for this thing to be finished. i get my powder coating done for free so i really try my very best not to rush anyone over there.

btw i forgot about this its the D shackle mount i decided after trying to grind it that this was a bad idea and its going to end up staying just a weld.
this one is hard to see

Very well could have. The liner should be replaceable though. Make sure you keep one of the felt 'cleaners' on the wire right in front of the feeder. It sweeps off any dust, and you can even put a 2nd one on soaked with a little bit of liner lube. :) Just go down to Airgas, or Norco and they'll know what you're talking about.

lol, you talked her down? how much was the drill originally?

If it's not making it really ugly, and if it's going to keep it stronger/safer, then don't grind it.

Oh yea, I forget, are you driving around with nothing on the front of your truck?

x2....back when I was in tech school we were all the time replacing liners cause they only had 2 mig welders for over 60 students. We focused mainly on SMAW on pipe and TIG. But what Relentless said is dead on the money. The little felt sweepers/cleaners really help. Its not bad at all to change a liner. maybe 10 min. BTW, this thing is lookin bad a**. You think when you get done you could measure up all the individual sections so I can copy yours? lol. I got a couple changes I would make for personal preference but the basic form is great. Good Luck!

    - the drill bits were marked 15.99 and then they rang up like 13.99 then they gave me 20% off then it was an outdated package so i got another 10%. good thing i took a shower before i went up there. :)

    - I think these will be mostly hidden. and i dont really think they will subtract form the overall look of everything.

-Yeah my truck looks great right now with nothing on the front, its a mod everyone should do.
