Tacos in St. Louis area

I switched when it became legal 3 years ago here. It is hard to compete with a crossbow when I can buy one for $350 and shoot 1-2" groups at 50 yards. The hardest part is finding bolts and a broadhead that don't plane bad at 50 yards.

I have no idea what kind of press I would need, and if they don't warranty it I might just get a new one becuase I doubt it is worth the hassle to put a new limbs on. Grossman has a traditional crossbow on sale from 700 for 140$ I think so that might be my next step

Hey y’all, looking at moving to the St. Louis area for work next. Can anyone give some advice and where to love for housing and things they like to do in the area? TIA

Hey gang, offer the St. Louis real estate insider advice I don’t know. Best neighborhoods, school districts, and so on. And don’t say Kingshighway and MLK.

 

Depends on how long you want to travel / where you’re working.

 

I would say Ofallon/ St. Peter’s/ St. Charles are good areas. Good school districts too. It’s pretty central from the city but far enough away.

Going north on 270, your best bet for good areas are to the west after olive exit. Between 44 and olive on 270 northbound is hit or miss but a lot of the areas are fairly pricey.

 

Renting or buying? Kids or no kids? Long term or short term?

More city or more rural?

Theres a good chunk of us on the north end in at Charles and surrounding. Not bad areas. I grew up on the south part of st louis county in eureka. Also a pretty nice area. Just depends whT your needs and wants are.

May rent, may by just depending on market. No kids but have a dog so a fenced in yard would be great. More rural would be better but suburbs is fine too. Thanks for the info already y’all. No guarantees of moving there yet but early info is nice to have

Checked the winch line, recovery gear box is good to hook. Waiting to recover Lieutenants in Jeeps while cameras are rolling

 

Should be able to find some apartments with pseudo dog parks around if you end up renting.

Just stay away from east of the Mississippi and the north side of the city until you pass the i270 belt. Once you start looking for certain. hit us up again with more detailed questions.

 

My best friend Kelly 's fiance was ran over by a drunken snowmobile driver after ice fishing with friends. He suffered severe head trauma and multiple fractures to both legs.

His family will need help with medical and day to day expenses as he's in critical condition to this day with a very long road to recovery.
