Want to install a 4 pin trailer plug...is the black plug in port behind the bumper for that

Is the black plug in behind the bumper used for a trailer plug 4 pin

 

Don't think the 2.7 is eligible for a tow package from Toyota, making it unlikely to be pre-wired for a trailer harness.

But I don't 'know', so I'm in to watch and learn.

Try asking in 3rd gen forum.

 

If it's a round 7 pin plug, just buy the adapter, it plugs in and allows you to plug your 4 pin right in

I don't think his truck has the factory tow package but it's difficult to tell, lol.
