If it was that big of a deal you'd have checked it on the test drive.

If it’s that big of a deal, you’d figure that would have been inspected before you purchased the truck.

It is. Can’t complain, I make $44/hr & likely going to get a substantial raise soon as well. But still, $52,500 and I can’t control the windows!!

This is interesting. Leaving convenince aside, shouldn’t the driver window remain operational at all times? For emergency egress out of the vehicle.

To all you people jumping on me saying something like “you should have checked that before you bought it” ... Sure, but it’s not like I had a checklist to go through & it’s very cold up hefe in Canada and not much reason to open the windows right now. It’s 2020, a guy just assumes that the driver can control all windows when window lock is on!

Still would have bought the truck - It was just a surprise is all I’m trying to say. But, if pulling me down makes you feel better, go for it I guess.

What responses did you expect, from a rant on something so small and silly?

Look on the bright side, it'll teach you, to teach your children to listen the first time. Toyota might be smarter than you think

im sure you could put a jumper from pre lock power to your switch and have access to your window when locked. Thats how other cars work
