That's why I honestly wasn't too mad lol. I've heard some techs kinda ride on my clutch before and I cringe. A dent is a dent, I can't cover a clutch under insurance.

 

probably but I think it might be your valve cover gasket.

 

They're gonna want to send you on your way with a $60 Chinese aftermarket one, just FYI. Your original one is much higher quality you'll see if you swap it. Id get them to cut you a check and keep oem if you can

BROOOO that's what I wanted was some bones under the table. Can I ask for that?? Like the manager was like "oh lets get ur info" so I asked if he wanted insurance info, but he got license number and VIN and said their insurance would contact me this week.

 

That's what I would make sure my quote is for or check is to replace an OEM bumper.
I erased a big thing I typed out. I'll just say it sucks for him. And start looking for your 4x4 or PreRunner and unload the 5 lug when you can. it's all over. That's how extreme I am when it comes to body parts/pcs not being original quality

He'll want to claim it on his insurance I'd guess. Unless he wants to give you 500 bucks cash or something. But keep that bumper man. It'll be nicer than any aftermarket stock one
Oh just saw the insurance part. Tell insurance you'll get quote or whatever. But do not let them schedule your repair or anything for you. YOU want to be in charge of the repair they have to make on YOUR truck.

 

Nothing ever fits the same. Ever. I understand the huge argument for original condition and not resto. I get it now. I've seen enough lol

 

That's fine. It'll still be heavier duty and fit better and last longer than any aftermarket stock replacement. That's the argument

 

Ahhhh okay so I can talk to the Discount Tire insurance and have them pay me out regardless, instead of replacing the bumper? Tell them I'll get a quote and then what? What's usually the route this goes? First time for me, thanks for the help lol

 

Yeah I'm not expert for sure. Just on prior experience for me

 

At this point a couple bills would help me a long way versus a new bumper I don't ever see besides when I'm loading the bed lol
