Forgot to text you. It was semi wack, but I got an alignment today at Firestone and they did great.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Hells Yeah, just like you said. You wanted to go full ham on this one.
    I like the stance!

Big Up to all those that threw down, even though I am a lame turd for not being a part of it (will spare you the details). Yes..yes, several of you have rubbed it in like an Indian burn.

    Looking sweet Grant.

Anyone here live in the Buckhead or Peachtree Hills or Collier Hills area?

The East Cobb commute is killing me. It's gotten 30+minutes worse each way in the last 10 years. Google says I spent 86 hours in the truck last month on commuting. That's just not healthy.

I have a realtor and am looking in the area, but would appreciate tips on good neighborhoods / things to be aware of from someone local.

    Yes
Any of y’all that have done idler & tensioner pulleys... did y’all replace the whole pulley or just the bearings? Did you go with sealed bearings? Going to buy some tower, figured I’d ask before I really started digging

Happy Monday, you know those COSTCO RTT's mentioned awhile back? They're now $300 off at $1700 for the next 2-3 days. (Forgot to copy the link.)
They also have a 3.8 gallon portable water tank/system on sale, I don't know anything about them but might be worth it.
And pick you up a set of these while you're at it... https://www.costco.com/gofloats-giant-pool-floats,-2-pack.product.100478438.html

I did them earlier this year. I bought a kit and replaced pulleys and bearings. The whole job wasn’t that bad, took a couple hours.

I'm gonna assume it's different for 2nd gens but for first gens you can just replace the bearing

Sorry for the delay it’s been a minute since I’ve been on here. I went with 650lb springs. I choose the middle weight for the skids, and ultimately a winch and low profile bumper of some sort. The ride is compliant but not overly firm.

Finish and construction quality have been phenomenal. Zero signs of corrosion or tarnishing of the body, and fittings and no pitting in the coils which I assumed was inevitable due to all of the gravel roads around here.

Let me know if you have any other questions, man.

Just did this on the gfs runner. You replace the Idler Pulley and Tensioner Assembly. You do not replace bearings.
