cheaper other than it taking me probably 3x longer or more to figure out how to do it properly
its NOT like changing an upper radiator hose and filling more coolant back in

there was no way i was porking out over $200 to change upper radiator hose, that was easy peasy to do myself in a couple hours
i just thought they would warranty the work they already did on my radiator

Then they wont warranty the work. You do get that with dealership markup.

Most dont give a hoot who makes the parts. If they dont supply it, no warranty. Part of the price.

That's what I want lol 800 yards to 0 yards. Still looking up opitcs lol. Seriously driving me nuts. I get this weekend off so I'm going to the range for some 1,000 yard time.

Is it weird I listen to classical orchestra while doing so? Like that calming stuff not like Richard Wagner ride of the Valkyries lol

Pretty standard way shops do it. Sometimes you may find a shop that will install oem parts that you supply but they won't warrant anything.

Really any Front focal plane optic with a nice Moa or Mil reticle will work fine (pick your poison, I like Moa) That Vortex Diamondback Tactical is more than adequate for 800 yards, and is only $400 for 6-24 power.

Or you could be a man and put on a set of National Match Iron Sights. :notsure: And trade a bipod for a good 2 point sling.

Theres zero sense in supplying the part if youre not gonna do the work yourself imo. Dealership markup includes the warranty and all the free wifi wnd coffee you use up while waiting in the lobby. Or in my dealers case, they buy you an uber so you dont have to wait. And theyll buy you another to take you back to pick up your car.

Or they couldve simply left a bolt loose or something. The 92 went back in a few times after the dealer did the headgasket. All within a few weeks of getting it back for stupid little stuff they forgot. All at no charge cause the work was under warranty.

Lol, at the response to your post. It's like the actual post and suggestions and advice is just disregarded, not even acknowledged, let alone used. :DReason and logic and sense need not apply
