    The 1FZ was designed with enough block material to be rebuilt, including cutting/boring the cylinders, twice. And the service life on each build, if rebuilt correctly, was designed to last a minimum of 300k miles.
    I love that everything on the 80 was designed to be rebuilt, almost all of it is serviceable. It's like the anti of how cars are designed today, to be thrown away after a short service life. 4Runner/Hilux Surf/LCPrado/GX470(gx460) all share same concept of long service life and very serviceable systems and components
