Most of Minnesota does not have the bipolar freeze/thaw that you find in Iowa and Nebraska. Much of the state has snowpack for the course of the winter.

that is a good thing perhaps?
less chance for whatever corrosion has started does not have ripe conditions to deteriorate faster
unless you park in a heated garage :notsure:

its supposed to be near 50F here for several days by the end of this week!

Yeah, if you park in a garage in MN, your going to get rust... the garage will be just above freezing, and damp as hell with salty air. Leave it outside and its dry, cold and frozen. You just have to deal with ice on the windows, but thats easier to fix than rust.

i was not planning on yanking all fender liners, that was a last minute jump right in, but takes longer than expected and the weather turned south below freezing
and i cannot run the water hose when its that cold!

Who wants to help me replace my shocks? Always looking for someone to wrench with. In the twin cities.

I’m not into the cab for myself. Just was posting thinking maybe someone was looking. I think the price is fair.

i did not realize that most Iowa rivers wind up in the Mississippi river

All Iowa rivers end up in the Mississippi.
A large portion of the US is in the Mississippi drainage basin.C5B3A60D-D13B-4355-BDB2-C728A332B7D3.jpg

i believe i confused myself again

do you mean straight to the Mississippi or some go through the Missouri first before they hit St. Louis
i have the Floyd, Little Sioux, Nishnabotna and Boyer that flow west first, maybe a couple others

It depends on the topography. In your area I would assume everything hits the Missouri first but it all connects into the Mississippi eventually.

These are my thoughts exactly I recently began thinking about just leaving my truck outside I think it would do it better and just pull it in when the snow flies for a day or 2 to save me time.brushing snow off of it. But I do pressure wash as much as I can on the underside of the truck and run it through the holiday wash at least once a week
