Sounds like maybe a bad tensioner, idler, or other pulley on the belt?

ETA: Cut my post short because I got a phone call...

If it sounds like it's coming from the front of the engine, I'd pull the belt off and see if any of the pulleys sound of feel bad when turned by hand.

Just a few little things. It's my DD
I agree it deff sounds like it coming from your drive belt area. Now you need to try and narrow down. Need to check everything that turns on front for the noise. Like tensioner or alternator, compressor. Hopefully it not your timing belts. Look like something didn't like the mud getting all over it

I can tell you for certain its not anything to do with a timing belt. 1GRFEs have chains...

Pull the belt and turn everything by hand, should be obvious.

It could also be the alternator. They don't like mud and water either. I have seen the same on other trucks.

Did anybody ever figure out what the problem was?.. I’m usually pretty good at mechanics and can’t solve this one personally. It started because it flooded down here in south Texas about a year ago. And I drove my truck for rescues. So it was in water about to my bottom doors. And then one day it just sounds loud like a the way described in the forum. And so I looked around and I replaced my timing belt and pullys and water pump and still sounds remains. Replaced transmission and engine mounts. And my fan seems fine. The only thing I found bad was started became bad and I rebuilt it. Truck runs fine. Except it has more vibration and about 2 as loud.. I need help you guys seriously

    Alternator.

Get a section of garden hose and put it next to your ear and hold the other end near the Alternator.

Harbor Freight mechanic stethoscope is only like $5 also, if no hoses are handy.
