I've heard nothin but good things about the Duratracs. They look sick too. I'd like to get a 285 but don't have the money to lift. Might fit better if I had gone with a smaller wheel. Mine are 16x10...so they scrubbed pretty bad.

Just a spacer lift to reduce scrubbing.

Yeah when I was in AMT there about 5 years ago I got a co op at Gulfstream. Got me the job I have now so it was worth it I guess. The base isnt a bad place either though. I had friends co op at Gulfstream then go to Warner Robins AFB and they love it. Just depends on what your looking to do really.

It all depends on if you earn your A&P licenses, where you go to work at, what type of aviation you get into really. For instance your not gonna make as much working on piston poppers as you would in corporate aviation. The airlines im not sure about havnt worked with any. When I started 4 years ago it was around $20 an hour for a Tech/Mech 1 wich is bottom of the barrell. So for a greenhorn it wasnt bad to me. But do all the research you can dude and find out what type of aviation youd like best. Get your foot in the door somewhere learn all you can. Being a greenhorn your gonna get shit jobs at first too, just gotta roll with it though. Keep in mind too if your willing to travel a lot you can pretty much make as much as you want to.
