I’m thinking when I re gear I’m just going to pull the trigger on 88s to be prepared for tire weight, cargo and towing. I’ve read people that got 4.56 some wish they went lower to 4.88. But never people botching about 4.88 wanting 4.56.

Since re gear is a must when going 35, I’m just wondering about the new ones at dealership where it says on the added package that has 6” lift with 35 and I only see them reprogram the computer. Is that just a little help or whoever buys it would want to re gear in future for better gas mileage?

I wouldn’t buy it but what I want to know is with them reprogramming the computer does it really help out with the gearing and gas mileage or is it just to bump the price higher only. Lol

Any real world experience in here with 4.30 ratio and MT? I've had 35's as a goal for my build for the last year. I have pretty much all of the clearancing mods completed. I don't want to make the jump until I can re-gear and add a front locker. So it is a couple of years from my build. I have a couple more priority mods in mind first, then I can focus on wheeling mods. I've had a couple of discussions with MT guys running 35's and have had mixed reactions between the 4.30 and 4.56

If anyone has experience i would love to hear it.
