I’ve always been a fan of the Gwagen. I’ve driven a few AMGs when I worked at MB back in college. The G65 was Super smooth with its twin turbo v12 But the grumble of the G55 s/c v8 sounded better. Mid 2000s models are fairly affordable at this point but would likely cost a lot in repairs.

One of my coworkers has some kind of Merc SUV AWD. I told her to make sure she could afford shit that would go wrong. She's now about to drop 2K on tires and is sick about it.
