Seems the supply can't keep up with demand. Also quality control is lacking at the factory. There are too many blemished sets for sale, that sould be mint wheels before they are even shipped over seas.

the blems are almost unnoticeable. I have a set and I was never able to find the blemish. If the way they do business doesn't suit you then don't buy the wheels.

Oh, I would still buy blems, but what other wheel manufacturer sells blems?

Other manufacturers may not sell them label as blemished, my guess is because they are a huge company's that do not review them as well as @SCS does. Like someone else said the blemishes are hardly noticeable at all. So others may just sell them to you without the consumer knowing that it has defects. Just my guess

Take it easy on SCS, did you ever try to run a foundry with just 2 dudes? No wonder they only release 3 wheels at a time.

Are the wheels not produced by a large wheel production plant overseas?

Saw that today too. I thought the 16" used to be 16x8. Guess they've made them a half inch wider. Wonder if that will cause any rubbing issues for us stock suspension folk

I rubbed even with my older Rays in 16x8 on stock suspension 265/75r16, its more to do with the aggressive offset, its minor though, remove the flaps and a little plastic trimming on the inner fender well.

Really dude, let it go. Wish Mods could time out people that make comments like these. You havent been here long enough to know but unchained5150 is a CONTRIBUTING member (used to get group deals on wheels, etc. for members).

Thanks for the info - were you rubbing on full locked turns, speed bumps, off road, etc?
