Ok. One more college story (non-sexual).
I was rolling in a 77 Monte Carlo and my roommate bought a sweet 72 Riviera with a blown engine. I had just removed the idiot lights and put gauges in the dash but hadn’t hooked up the illumination for them. We both worked night shift at the time. So on the very morning we are to go pick up his short block from the machine shop (still dark out) my car starts to bog and run like shit. So I give it more gas. Passed under a streetlight and saw it. ZERO oil pressure. One ear on the oil pump shaft snapped off.
So now we have 2 dead cars and our apartment is scattered with cranks, pistons, heads, cams and everything else. Weather is bad so my brilliant roommate decides he can’t wait to paint the 455 Buick red so he does it in the kitchen! EVERYTHING is fucking pink. Walls, floors, ceilings, counters, every fucking thing.
Well, it was cold and a pipe burst in the unit next to ours so the landlord is onsite to look at his properties. There’s a knock on the door. The look on his face when we opened the door was beyond description cuz the first thing he saw was a pretty red 455 on an engine stand in the pink kitchen. Dude was hot.
We got the boot, then and there.
On the bright side, we didn’t have to clean anything cuz the security deposit went Poof.
