Hey guys i dont post here much cause i spend wayy to much time reading and then i spend way too much money but just one question cause i cant seem to find a answer

im currently running dakars leafs 95r with a dual swing out steel bumper canopy and soon to be RTT plus work gear which is a extra 100-200 pounds depending

Whats the better option here for me adding air bags and cradle to my 95r
or upgrading the leafs to the 96r and adding the extra leaf(el46xl) and ignoring the bags

i normally always have around 100-200 pounds in the back at all time for work regardless

i plan to use the truck for camping full loaded and pulling a small aluminum boat as well

Thoughts and opinions please and thanks

Are the 96r the heavy duty leafs?
I have the heavy duty and am wondering if I can add the extra leaf to the HD pack, or if its only meant for the medium pack

Not an answer for you guys but just some more info.

I also have the 95rs and just bought the add a leaf. I want more lift. I was told they will add 15mm (.6 inch) and about 15% to the payload. Yes you can add it to both the medium and heavy packs. That 15% is unloaded. The weight will probably cancel it out and be level with how it was before the add a lead

Is the EL095 pack the 6 leaf pack? If so, I'd put in the 7th leaf, that's a great configuration for dakars.

I'm surprised you're not sagging or soft already with the EL095 and all that extra weight from gear and swingout.

I have the HD pack plus an additional EL46XL leaf. I'm here wondering if I want to add an additional EL46XL...

How do things look, and how much weight you carrying? HD + AAL can hold a lot of weight.

I‘ve got the medium pack. Haven’t installed yet and will be running airbags and cradles for when I load my dual sport in the back. Extra 350lbs. And when I tow my trailer 400lb tongue weight. I’m interested to see how it works out and think it’ll be great as I don’t want the stiffer springs when I’m unloaded.

Sexy beast. I switched away from dakars and have had a lot of luck with my dobinsons leaf pack. They make them up to 1350lb capacity and much less squeaky and much less stiff/harsh than my dakars were. I'm currently carrying around 1300lb on mine.
