    the professor is awake!! :woot:

    "As of 5 AM, it's snowing lightly at the GSD Home Office and roads are snow covered. The radar indicates that we will see many more hours of snow, and it should pick up in intensity in the next 2-4 hours. The track appears to be slightly more north than expected, so the northern half of Berkshire County could see slightly more snow than the southern tier. We are still expected to see 4-6 inches throughout Berkshire County by the end of the day."

    I think that 4-6 inches is pretty accurate. From what I am seeing on wunderground and dark sky. Will be nice for the ski trails but still fits into the amount my snowblower can move at a decent pace! I have all Thursday to finish cleaning it up anyways!

    Yup......only a dusting of snow, but......wow, the road are slippery as hell. And unfortunately it looks like more sleet, freezing rain, and then more snow on top of that to make it worse. All schools are cancelled and I am usually like "seriously....wtf......the kids can go in today....." welp, I would more than likely see a bus in a ditch if they did.

    You are right.
    The plows did not start here until around 6am which is right around the time the buses start making their routes. Not very well thought out today in the city of pitts.

    So I work till 4, could be up at Jiminy about 545-6. Did the area get enough snow to make the drive worth it? I have a season pass, so dont care about $ side of it.

    Not much here down in the pitts. But the ice pellets are nice and slippery. :D
    Was snowing from morning until just about 45 minutes ago.
    I think the skiing would be good this evening and probably not busy at all.

    @DrFunker

    I was way off with my 3 inches, we had that when I left almost at 7:30. Got some good snow, then turned to freezing rain for an hour or two. Then really heavy big flakes. By all accounts skiing was good. I didn't go because snow clearing for some meetings tomorrow, will go this week though.

    You guys were the only ones not canceled today :rofl::rofl:
