I hope you did not pay much.

Have you thought about a Solid Axle Swap it might be cheaper then replacing all those parts .

I have to lean toward replacing the lower control arms I bet those bushing would need to be burnt out.

Where in NJ if your close to Allentown Pa always willing to help

    Nah, all good

Our 1st gen balljoints are just "special". It's a poor design where the ball/cup is under tension (from the spring) so if the BJ fails, it does so spectacularly and can be extremely dangerous if it happens on the highway. They fixed it for the 2nd gens.

That and the location of the dash clock are literally my only complaints about first gens.

i got a good deal on it, ~$3k.

burn out the bushings as opposed to pressing them out with a press or in conjunction with the press?

I'm about 1.5 hours away. would love to take you up on that as I'm learning this stuff as I go along.

2nd gen has a serious problem with their front turn signal location
i first heard of this issue on TW so i inspected for myself
wow, were they right, could barely see the turn signal with headlights on
    very dangerous at night!

what is wrong with your dash clock?
its not 'ideal' but is nothing too terribly bad imo
if it were you no doubt would hear me complain :stirthepot:
