I definitely didn’t create it myself, it looks like it would be part of the mini set but I’m not seeing it on brickset. Maybe just by looking at the other engine I can get all those pieces

I never got 4491, so I take it getting a new one of that set should come with the other engine

Welcome (back) to the dark side. You can buy all the missing pieces and parts etc off bricklink.com. Create wanted list of all your needs, search for the store with the most partial, and order away. Bricklink is a group of AFOL’s worldwide who sell used and new Lego by the pice, set, and their own creations. Parts start at $0.01 so unless you have a rare set you can get out cheap.

 

I do have 2 pieces on my wishlist for .01 and .07 cents. However with shipping it’s about $15

 

I searched on bricklink for Y-wing and this mod l does not show up. I also searched by some of the pieces in the set, such as the long white bars, yellow wedge plate, and the white dome bricks. None of these turned up a set that matches this exactly.

My guess is you took this set and modified it to be more authentic...

Regardless, you can easily buy the parts s for the second engine off bricklink. I’d say $5 tops.

 

How long is the $800 UCS Falcon is supposed to remain in production?

 

Well it’s been out 2 years now. I’d think you’d have at least another year. Then again the VW bus has been around what 10 years?

 

Should I set aside the money and drop $800 on it before LEGO retires it and scalpers start putting them on Amazon for the price of a decent used car? I was seeing them online for thousands when it first came out!

 

It really depends on how much you want it. $800 is a lot for a lego set, but it’s a big set and needs a lot of room to display. You can wait but lego retires it’s sets without much notice. It’s basically here today, gone tomorrow.

 

My dad says it would be a stupid financial decision to buy it right now; What pisses me off is that people will listen them for three grand as soon as Lego retires it.

 

If you have the money now. And you want it. I’d buy it now. It’ll never go on discount. So might as well buy it when you have the cash if it’s a set you for sure want.

 

It’s on backorder until January now...

 

It’s not going to get any cheaper... especially after they stop selling it. So what makes it a bad investment?
