Even still has the center caps. I hope someone buys them just to make sure he doesn't toss em lol harder and harder to find this stuff in decent shape

Yep, still running the same. This shop is awesome. All adjustments with the lower eccentrics - SPCs left at the default position (D).

No rubbing to speak of (yet), tracks perfectly. Definitely feels different.

Still can't believe they got me to 3.9 without touching the SPCs.





As I expected, the ARB did change it a little I believe. I was at 0 toe and 0 camber. So not much of a hit.

 

No no, I'm the kind of Asian who isn't good at Math.

 

Aftermarket center caps though, Toyota never made those with the words Toyota on them.

The steel costs more than the grinder.

 

yeah when I got my caster put to 3˚ you could really feel it in the steering, took me a bit to get used to it. They didn't touch my SPCs either, I think the SPCs give us more caster even in the normal setting so it's easier to get a higher number using the lower settings. Or not, I dunno. but they didn't touch my UCAs either.

Yeah, the last place was good. Not going to knock the work they did but this other shop, much better IMO and cheaper. $150 bones vs 195. No brainer. Could I have gone to Firestone? Sure. Would I? Hell no. Just personal preference of course.

 

My freebie 3.5 is slowly being taken apart. Minimal damage, engine looks good other than cylinder ones rod issue

 

yeah I don't use my Firestone lifetime package at all anymore unless I just want them to fix the toe...but even last time I did that, they gave my truck back to me with a crooked steering wheel. I go to the local 4x4 shop that does alignments, $150 as well. Speaking of which I need to try and fit one in before I drive up there to Santa Cruz on Saturday.

Need to try and get my tires balanced again too, got a wobble going on at freeway speeds

 

You sure that rod is bent? And it's not just the picture angle?









What's the plan on this one? Rebuild it stock? Or is this the one you were wanting to put into an MR2 or something? Something little, quick, and fun?

I probably should explain my "Hell NO" to Firestone. The shops around here (at least from what I have read on the forum) leave much to be desired. Too many negative reports.

 

Those are some baby little rods for that engine. Maybe it's good the 3.5 tacos don't have a boost option
