Well I guess putting this in 2016+ was the wrong forum. So repost it is. Thanks for any help with this. I have reached out to GTF since I originally post there. So thoughts on them as well.

I have just picked up 2020 Offroad. I am looking for a shop to get 5.29 installed in anchorage. I am heading up there first week of 2020. I probably don’t have time to get it done before I go. I wanted to know if anyone knows a good place in town to get this work done.

I've never had any gear work done, but I've got an idea, just wanna ask some of the folks at work before I make a recommendation.

GTF has regeared my old Tacoma the second time around (from 4.56 to 5.29). Dan Green does a good job. Youngs Gear also can do them and they also regeared my old Tacoma the first time around from stock to 4.56.

Both did good work. On the one Dan setup the rearend did come loose but I took it back to him and he redid it at the cost of bearings only. He stands behind his work pretty good.

Ice Monkey Garage might be able to do them as well. I haven't done major work there but they seem to be doing good work on Toyotas and Jeeps too.

Thanks to your both as well big D. I have already been in contact with GTF. Just need to determine the always fun 4.88 vs 5.29 with 32”. The never ending debate :)

I had 37" tires with the 5.29s, and 4.56 with 33s. My truck was the one in my sig, a 4 cylinder manual first gen.
