Before he bought the Canyon he chose a Banana Yellow Pontiac Aztek, another vehicle I pleaded with him not to buy. It was a piece of shit that was a money pit and a constant source of aggravation.

 

I just called my cousin to make sure I correctly named this...

This long hallway is referred to as Broadway!

There are pictures taken on the exterior deck of Wisconsin from a previous trip in December 2017; Most of these pictures were taken in recently-opened interior sections of the ship; Broadway was one of those sections...

 

Wisconsin was decommissioned in the early 1990s, and great lengths were taken to make her appear as she did in late 1980s or so...

 

The S-10 came after the Canyon but it had a host of issues too. I knew something was not right when he showed a picture and I told him to pass. He bought it anyway and brought it over and after looking at it realized that the guy swapped an S-15 Cab on and left wiring and cables unhooked so it was a massive source of aggravation.

 

I believe this was part of the hospital wing/infirmary...

 

S-10s are great trucks if you treat 'em right!

 

Battleships were essentially small cities, with everything you'd find in town onboard, including fully staffed medical/dental facilities...

 

Right I agree and would not have had a problem with him buying one, just not that one. Nothing was ever right because of the prior guy doing a cab swap.

 

Why did he do that, exactly? Was the original cab damaged?

 

Hard to believe that about 30 years ago, some people were still using typewriters!
