So I have no experience with any wiring behind the dashboard so please bear with me. I will be purchasing the Anytime Backup and Front Camera System and will include the Navigation Override also. Rather then using the red toggle switch that is included with the override and mounting it under the dash I thought I would purchase a push switch and mount it in the empty switch spot next to my Fog light switch. I did a search here and found that CH4x4 Industries make custom switches that are highly recommended here. I figured while I am doing that maybe I can also replace the Fog Light Switch with this one. https://www.ch4x4.com/product/ch4x4-toyota-push-switch-fog-lights-symbol/. The reason being the original switch does not light up when turned on. This switch does. Can anyone with more experience then me (should be everyone) tell me if this switch will be compatible with the wiring I will find on the back of the original fog light switch? In other words, is it plug in play or will I have to be creative in some way?

On his model all the blanks on the left side are the same. Th smaller one are in the center spot by the 12v source.

Where are you buying the kit from? I’ve been looking and there was a company on here who made them but thought they didn’t make them for 2nd gens anymore.

@whiting1977 there is a light bulb in the fog light switch. 1/4 turn and it'll pop out. It'll be gray or brown. You'll see what I mean when you take the switch out.

Edit: tiny and $$ for what you get.

@Kens04Taco can likely help. If not let me know...the last couple members I tried to help with electrical questions essentially told me to fuckoff so I’m taking a rest from helping for a bit.
