Thank you. This will be my DD.
My dads 95 pickup shifts better though.

Had the alignment checked today. As expected, a little off from previous numbers. They were able to set caster a little higher without having to move the SPCs from the default "D" setting.

Previously had a slight variance in Caster from left to right to account for road crown but this shop advised against it. Went with their recommendation. Tracking nice and straight.

Previous report from a different shop and before I added the ARB

Yes. It’s dry and massively cracked though. I’ll probably take it off one day. Like I said. This truck is a 20 footer. Up close you can see that the top half of the paint is faded. A bunch of scratches too. It’s my new daily.

Double clutch it real quick and it will slide right into 1st. All three of the Toyota trucks in my family wouldnt want to go into first at a dead stop sometimes or after reversing. Just a Toyota thing I suppose.

Well I went to move the old girl to our company shop so our lead maintenance guy could load it on a trailer to drive it to my house. Started fine and drive it down the road to the shop where I shut it off in the parking lot before he told me to put it in the shop bay. Went to turn it back on and it sounded terrible so we pushed it into the bay. When he got to my house he said it wouldn't turn on the first two tries but the third time it started just fine and he put it into 4LO and drove it onto the trailer with no ramps. He offered to look at it for free so I said what the hell why not. Worse case is the motor is blown and I either sell it for a new vehicle or have him replace it and I still end up selling it most likely because I need something a little more future family friendly.

Downshifting does suck, especially 5th to 4th, like off the freeway to an off ramp. I have changed my trans fluid twice with the correct weight and type of fluid (can't recall exactly) but still bulky. Have 250K miles on it will just accept as part of the deal I guess.

I suspect. Never measured it. I just know it fits.

Camry 3vz ran to almost 7k rpm. No idea how well it’ll play with the 5vz super long runners

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Wonder if there's a valve spring difference? I'd love to be able to rev a 5vz to 7K but I'd start to worry about float before I actually worried about the cams capability.

Isn't there a rev limiter built into the ECU? You'd need a Camry ECU if that was the case, I would think?
