Goat magnetic armor

Not yet. I actually saw this thread and sent it off to Matt, who I use to work with when he was helping set up another product. We stayed in touch cause we were both fathers and we shared kid war stories.

Anyways. I don’t, they’ve been on the mod list, haven’t had the opportunity to get them yet, and figured I’d get a GB and get myself a set during that same time. Win win.

And actually. A lot of my responses here have been answered via chatting with Matt, so any questions you all have, feel free to ask. I will get them answered.

 

Nice. I've been eyeing Goat Armor because I want to offroad in KY with the Cincinnati group. That place is pinstripe hell.

 

Yeah? Where in KY? I’ve wanted to go to Land Between the Lakes and wheel.

 

They go to Red River Gorge and Daniel Boone Backcountry Byway.

 

Red River is about 7 hours from us. Might be able to do a 3 day weekend there this next year with you guys. Keep me in the loop!

We need to get a bunch of GOAT tacos out there and do a promo shoot/video for Matt.

My last truck was pinstriped to hell from the gorge area. Trying to avoid that this time

 

I haven't gone yet. I am bone stock currently and I would prefer to have a small lift and a HC bumper.

 

Didn't read through the whole thread, but like everyone said: Matt is a good dude. I had an issue and he stepped up to the plate big-time and took care of something that was probably my fault. I went with the blue digital camo because it's obnoxious and my wife hates it. I've left it on for weeks at a time, but usually take it off after I've washed the truck. Definitely don't put it on the truck if it isn't very clean. And don't take it off until after you've cleaned again.

You will still get some light scratches, but not like pinstripes. I also got glue or something on the paint. I have no clue what it actually was, but it came off with some polishing. Other than that they're holding up and protecting serious stuff from happening to the paint. You can actually see right now on my paint that they're protecting the truck. My gas door and flares are pretty scratched.

One thing I wish Matt would make was some kind of hood protection. Then I'd be set.

Is there anything like this but non-magnets? Like just vinyl stick-on like the bed decals?

I like this but don't want to take on and off and also don't want to do a full body wrap.

 

You can always tell a clear wrap shop where you want it to stop.

 

Yeah, figured I could get a shop to do a custom job. Was just wondering if there was already someone making something like that with colors/patterns/etc.
