    This. Hot is normal for inflammation, but redness, hotness, increased sensitivity and stiffness together can infer potential infection.

    Good to know! They gave me some oxycodone but it’s a low dose and they didn’t give me much. Fairly frustrating since the pain is constant.

    I have been trying to keep moving like I normally do. There’s still quite a bit of swelling on the ribs themselves but for the most part I can move a little bit more each day with a little less pain.

    Today is off to a good start. Slept on the couch in a more comfortable position so I think I actually got some rest.

    Roger roger. I’ve got some... “hydroco/apap” left over from something else. I remember them being a phenomenal pain killer. Is that hydrocodone?

    So much this. Don't get like me. When I dislocated my shoulder I also tore a bunch of ligaments (but didn't know it since I never saw a doc). Didn't use it much since it hurt. Ended up getting frozen should and the supporting muscles have completely atrophied. After tons of therapy I've only gotten limited range of motion back and the muscle is still terribly weak.

    Same. I've been too sedentary for the last 12 months and now I can barely reach behind myself. (Back injury)

    I’m going to physical therapy every other day for my knee. It hurts like hell but worth it to get mobility back and strengthen the muscles back.
