glad I went with the money instead then, Wasn't his response but his demeanor that bugged the hell out of me. Tried to eyeball me down at one point when I argued the OEM shit and said whatever dude it's fine. Fuckin boomers really think they are scary lol. Least they gonna factor in the labor and sit but really gonna only do aftermarket bumper price smh

on the flipside I was towing 15k to Moab and back and averaged 9.5mpg regardless of whether I was going over the passes or not

The town I grew up in had a tire shop called Big Mikes and was always known to have the best deals on tires anywhere, but the dude Mike that ran it had a rep for being a total fucking prick of an old man. When I was 18 or so and had my Prerunner I ordered some Dueller AT Revos for it for ~$600...he ordered the wrong tires and then tried to tell me it was no big deal and I should just take them because he didn't want to do the order over lol.

Ohhh yeah I know that exact type of dude.

My grandpa owned a tire shop and was much the same, he could cut deals like mad but was a cock when it came to customer service or admitting he made a mistake.

Did u have to pay up front or put down payment down? I woulda walked out and left the tires in his shop lol. I know discount u don't have to pay till they're on and can order em in without a down payment; like I did with my falkens

last night I couldn't help but dream of an old friend who I lost contact with. she attempted suicide several times and would cut herself deeply then send pics to me and others in our friend group saying it was finally time or whatever

This is part of the reason why the significant other will always be a part of my life; she's been on the receiving end of all this and she's always stuck through.

Can't say any one else will.

I had already paid, he eventually gave in and called me an asshole under his breath as he picked up the phone to make a call lol. That's just the kind of dude he was and everyone knew it, his shop is still there today but I haven't been in there in almost 17 years. I doubt he still runs it anymore, in this day and age of social media and Yelp he'd never survive
