A93DEF08-5566-4E9E-A13D-F78D83C87C30.jpg Got it done! Took about 3 hours, had to fight the driver side boot and driver side door control plugs for a while. I was watching step by step the video that Project Onix did of his install. Once the driver side was done, the passenger side was a breeze! If I could get it done myself, anyone can. Pretty impressive light coverage on the ground surrounding truck, so I can definitely see myself using these as makeshift rock / trail lights. Can’t wait for the release of the switch. I’m curious to see how it gets installed, and options for where the switch can be placed. Give us a heads up @MESO once ya release it! All in all, love the Puddle Pods!

Had no clue! Good to know for future reference, I’ve got a couple people I know that are awaiting Puddle Pods to be back in stock.. I’ve totally turned them on to them, gonna help on their install and will scan that QR to see Stews instructions.

Yeah I got mine done Friday night! Thankfully I have a heated garage and beers to help, although they may have slowed me down. That Project Onix video was what I used as well it was pretty good I’d say.

When you pop the little triangle off the top front of your doors (opposite of the mirrors), make sure you take the little white clips out and reattach to the small panel. Tried pushing mine in and it popped two of them into my door. I just used a coat hanger and some of that black tacky stuff they seal the door with on the end of the hanger and got them back out in 10 mins. Was worried I would never get them out haha

Yea I still have two of those inside my door somewhere. I found a package of them on Amazon for cheap. Still have quite a few left if anyone needs any.

Was the glue holding the plastic sheets in the door still soft and tacky for everyone else? I thought it would have been set, but I was able to peel the plastic back, and stick it back on after I ran the wires.

Yes, was able to “manipulate” mine if ya will. Wasn’t like it was still “wet glue” but definitely workable. Pretty normal from I gathered watching a few install videos.

I have a set of puddles I got on the first drop of the pods way back when. I haven't installed them cause I have been waiting for the switch to release. I wanted to know if there have been any changes to the design since the first batch was made?

Still the same for the most part. Seems recent ones have an adapter for upcoming v5 turns

I cut mine as I was peeling it away. Makes it way less stringy. I did mine in the summer so it was definitely soft and goeey.

Sounds good. Was wondering if he had made changes to the plastic shell pieces or not. I'd try to upgrade before install if he did.

Afaik, he hasn't. The pieces are injection molded and those molds are expensive

I’m pretty sure for mine. Like 95%. That other 5% is because It was 6 months ago when I installed.

Mine are not wired either. Got lucky with a surprise drop of like 25 units. Like stated about 6 months ago or so. Not to worried I know when I get my v5 turns MESO will take care of us that have the first batch
