I'm saying it is just some simple mathz to fill in a table. You a smart guy. You were playing with o-scopes just last year. Those tables translate around to yours. You might have some holes because I didn't look through it.

The good thing is, your 2TR VVTi solenoid, is the same as mine, or the same as the 2003 Lexus IS300. Which means copy and past the values and map, as a baseline.

Not on stock ecu, no. You need the MAF.
And the shit part for many Toyota's is there is no MAP sensor at all, so part of the calculation is inferred, and current manifold pressure is calculated instead of true readings. At least on the 3.5L

For a truck that has not deleted sensors or hacked a harness for a piggyback, our tuning software will be an excellent choice for boost. Primarily because we can extend the tables themselves. A special feature we have worked on.
So for example a stock ignition map is 11x17 with load cap of 110.
We can modify this to be 24x24...25x25, etc with load cap 160.
We already do this with success on the 4.0 and 3.5.

Rafael and I are planning for our first full version of the software to release in January. :).

The 2TR does have a MAP sensor you can hijack

yes it does but majority of toyotas do not.

speed density patch may be possible on the 2TR, something I'll look into in the future

I was 15psi on the old turbo. Going to be tuning the new one soon, but it's a slightly larger turbo. Just shooting for 300whp on 33" MT tires

Look up a G54B in a station if you want to see what a large displacement 4 cylinder is capable of.

That was one of my first cars and I loved it until the day it rod knocked to death lol

Is this necessary for my built 3rz? Are there any cheaper options @Torspd E1949B51-D8F3-4038-9C52-DD1E8B5384B2.jpg

For light honing, no. For boring, yes.

LCE should have them as well. Not sure if for sale though. That'd require a call.

I'm not sure what everyone else is running for turbos/manifolds, but I'm picking up a td04 from a 2000 Volvo for the right price.:woot:

Along with intercooler and some piping. I've known a couple vehicles with that turbo to be making upwards of 20lbs of boost, which is more than I need. But it does give me room for growth down the road. The donor engine is a 2.4 five cylinder, so I think the 2.7 should spool it just fine. Does anyone have any thoughts/recommendations on this combination?

@Torspd @Loxsl having a hell of a time closing this gap from new motor to the transmission. I pushed to torque converter on until i felt two clunks. I really jusy can’t seem to get it the rest of the way.
