Mornin' Bama! 2 more days! We have all of our shopping done, wrapped and under the tree. It's nice getting everything done early this year!

Morning Fellas. It's going to be the longest end of the week ever. We have essentially stopped work until after the holidays, which is boring as hell.

Working through the weekend up to Christmas Eve and getting screwed on your bonus, That SUCKS!

Hopefully I don't have to fly on any of the planes the disgruntled employees are working on.

I usually have one tab for tacomaworld open on one monitor and then my actual work going on the other haha. Probably not going to get much work done today since we have our party.

We got a hell of a bonus payout this year. 135% of payout. So if your bonus level is 15% of salary you get just over 20% of salary as your bonus.

Then they announced a 10% head count reduction in 2020

Dang, that's great for those who stay and sucks for the 10%.

My company is doing a restructuring as well right now. I'll be on a different program in 2020, but still have a great job so NO complaints from me.

 

Same! love most of my coworkers, pay is great, benefits are great, Bonus is great. Allows me to make taco mods and have play time lol. ZERO complaints! Plus i live about 8 min away hahah

 

Sort of. Salary employees are eligible for a bonus based on their level in the company. So level 5 gets 10%, level 6 gets 15%, level 7 gets 20% etc. However, this is based on a metrics based multiplier (cost, market share, warranty, etc.) that is set up at the beginning of the year. So some years we get nothing, but in good years like this one we get a chunk.

 

They say attrition will take care of most of it.

 

Thats great! We get 2 bonuses a year. One at the end and one in the middle. Its based of commission and other aspects. Usually in total around that 15% of my salary.

 

So they are hoping 10% just move on/quit. My company moved who they could/wanted and told the rest 'Sorry and thanks for your service'. They use it to clean house throughout the year.
