I like the look of the matte black ones, but I hate that there's an AVS logo on it.

Anyone know if the logo can be removed on the matte ones?
Maybe I could paint em?... hmmm

Not sure how cold it is outside, but the double sided tape won't stick well in the cold, have to bring it in a garage where it's warm and they'll stick better. Also Don't apply them as soon as you clean it. the alcohol has to have time to dry. Then just put it up there and raise the window. Leave the window up for a few days and it'll stick

I went with the AVS matte visors and really like them so far. I was concerned about them adhering well, so I cut narrow strips of cardboard and slid them up between the window and the vent shade for a few days, to increase the pressure applied. So far, I haven't had any issues after removing the cardboard.

It happened to me too. The alcohol pads sucked for me so I used goof off instead to clean the channel and that worked.

Never been a fan, but the AVS low profile ones look clean.

To leave your window open a little bit to allow air flow, but not let water in if it rains. Here in Louisiana the humidity is really bad and during the summer it helps out a lot.

My AVS in-channel smoke vent visors have held up perfectly for 3 years - though if they'd had the matte version when I bought mine just b/c I like them aesthetically a bit better, but functionally my AVS have never budged with their adhesive through many a hot TN day

I did the same thing with the 3M tape on the AVS visors on my 2012. It was the only way I could get them to fit right. I ordered another set for my 2020 and was very disappointed. I think I got an old set as the adhesive wasn’t sticky at all and I returned them. I went with the weather tech visors this time and I have to say they are clearly superior. I like the clips in the rear windows and I also really like the way no adhesive is needed in the front windows. I also agree with you that the Weathertech’s on the 3rd GEN’s are lower profile / fit closer to the window. I just roll my windows down 1/2 way to clean and dry them.
