Dunno, that seems wide for a narrow wheel but I don't know if it'd be within spec still.

Looking to pay for and install new tires? Go narrower.

Found a killer deal on wide used tires and wondering if it'll fit? If the price is right, send it :D

HMMM just trynna plan out when the bigger tires/rear end swap what to do. What would be the issue with trynna stuff the wheels on the rims? I can run a spacer/adaptor in the rear to stay on the 15 inch steelies, but people say they end up gunking with mud and fking up. If I get the rear end with stock wheels and tires it'll likely come as 265/75/16 so I'm trynna plot how to match the front. Might have to bite the bullet and do wheels with the tires but I don't wanna

U think if I ran 31x10.5x15 in the front, and 265/75/16 in the rear with 6 lug stock wheels and tires the diff would be THAT noticeable until I can match em all? I just know when I get the 6 lug rear end I'm gonna try and grab the tires and wheels that are on em. Thank you all for the help haha I know I ask a lot of stuff in here

I really don't know man, never gone the Frankenstein route. Is that the closest metric size to it? Wouldn't 265/70R16 be closer to 31 x10.50x15?

265/75/16 is 31.65 inch diameter, 265/70/16 is 30.6. Idk which would look better with bigger in front or rear so I guess I'll have to decide it when the time comes. I just know most of the 6 lugs came stock with the 265/75/16 correct? Was gonna be a cheapass and try to use whatevers on the junk truck when I find the rear end until I can afford it

In theory I guess bigger tires in the rear are better bc those are the tires I'll be airing down offroad since I'm 2wd, HMMM

I have brembo blank rotors with akebono ceramic pads. Love em.

I have been using Oreillys Brakebest select Ceramic on other cars lately though. Made by bosch, and theres a 15% off when you buy pads and two rotors deal going on right now.

Actually I thought they came with 265/70/16s? Most go to 265/75 when need tires because slightly bigger and won't rub

Putting the wider tires on narrow wheels may make it so you wear out the centers faster because they are ballooned out

On the other hand they also make it harder to break a bead while aired down. I go to 8 psi and haven't had an issue

Seconded (what Blue92 said). Brembo paired with Akebono is the only choice for me. Stops on a dime and whats not to love about Akebono's ZERO break-in period... Have them on the Camry as well. Let me save you the time looking them up - lol

Even though the pic shows 2 rotors, its only 1. You'll need a qty of 2.

    For Akebono -

For the rear, just stick with Toyota shoes.

U could be right, that's why I added the question mark lol. Guess I'll have to find my rear end and we'll see what comes with it at the time!

I learned just recently, I think from CS_AR, that Akebono has two diff pad grades for our front ends. In general, the higher letter grades (FF, FG, GG) the pad is rated for the better the friction and avoiding brake fade. Get the best rated within your budget. If you can get the GG brake pads for an extra 10 bucks, why not?
