Not lying. Wouldn't trade for a 2020 + $5000 cash. I don't fit with the moonroof and the manual seats adjust perfectly for me.

But then, I have a weird body

So much butt hurt. Even my mom knows 2017 was the best Tacoma year to date. Lotta fellas have huge disappointment when they throw down cash on a janky 2020, then see a sweet 2017 on the lot the next day.

    It’s one reason a used 2017 costs more than a new 2020.

    numbers don’t lie!

Then it's the same truck but without early generation year hiccups like supposed bad transmission, driveline vibrations, etc.

Everyone complaining about TSS. Is it perfect? No.
However I have to say it has saved me a few times. My stupid self looking down on my phone to switch a playlist on Spotify and luckily TSS saved me from rear ending someone

We should specify “best year, that isn’t the one you own”.

If that was the case I’d probably choose the 2015, last year of the 4.0, all the kinks are out, and the 2015 TRD Sport or 2015 TRD Pro is easily the most aesthetically pleasing to my eyes of all the Tacoma’s.

However, it’s obviously the 2018... first year for Cement being offered in the TRD configurations, TSS, and that beautiful cavalry blue color

Only thing I want off the 2020 for my 2017 is the headlamps. And that is easy enough to do when the extra :spending:is available.

Edit, and the power seat tracks... for the extra head room.

    No way I want a 2020 though.. I love my 2017.

    1GR 266 lb⋅ft (361 N⋅m) of torque at 4000 rpm
    2GR 260 lb⋅ft (353 N⋅m) of torque at 4700 rpm

3.5 is ok for a car, torque is a good thing for a truck.
