It’s gonna look great, I really want one:rofl: but it dawned on me that I have close to 60k miles on my front lift and it’s gonna need replacement soon. I’ve definitely lost a lot if lift. Not sure what I want to go with.

If the shocks aren’t busted slap a band-aid small spacer on it.

    What's up, Matt?

I wouldn't recommend Kings, Icons or Fox unless you don't mind servicing them frequently. For a DD, I say Bilstein, OME or Dobinsons.

I’ve heard it’s pretty easy to rebuild them, and if not chris can do it when it’s needed.
I’d for sure keep mine as a backup

Chris is certified by Icon, Kings, Fox and I think now ADS to rebuild their shocks. Last I recall he was working on ADS certifying him.

I’d get the midtravel kings if I ever got kings. I can get a full OME kit for the same price as just the front king coilovers:rofl:
the OME might end up being what I get just because of the price and I honestly dont need kings. I know they don’t produce as much lift as before, so I’d still use the top plate spacers and get 886’s for when I get a bumper

Hows the ride? I really like how stiff my bilsteins are, but at the same time something a little softer might be nice

Stiffer than stock with no additional weight, but with all the weight I have now, it's more stable and smoother than stock. Without the weight, it reminded me of my Honda Civic.

Gotcha. Lots of research to do. I’m also leaning more towards 4.56 gears and 295’s

When I had it up front was a little stiff but rode good. The HDs w/nitro chargers and no other weight besides the bumper was a little jarring. When I had 886 front and rear king 2.5 ext length oem style shocks it rode absolutely beautiful.

The 295/70/17 and 285/75/17 are very similar mine being about 1/2in taller and the 295 1/2in wider sized you saw how my truck ran on the on-ramp with 4.56.

Yup I remember lol, 295’s are cheaper and require less work and have less stress on my steering rack and wheel bearings. They still look beefy and will do just fine for what I do

Agreed, next time around I’ll probably just goto 285/70s
