got my WildPeak AT3W from DTD Online and have had no issues - yes they were less expensive than others. Balanced with no problems and after 25K miles they are still problem free. No issues with snow, rain, dry and off road/towing. I'll be purchasing the same when these are worn out.

I'm only joking. But I definitely don't see alot of Wildpeaks on Lexus's here in Colorado.

Out here, there are a lot of modded Lexus showing up. Folks really dig the GX and the coil suspension gets some killer articulation.

Imho I think they handle snow and ice better than the ko2s.

Wildpeaks are a better tire IMO than the KO2. 2 friends own shops and have had better experiences mounting / balancing and no bad reviews about them. Most guys that have KO2s hate on the WPs, maybe they want to justify spending more on the KO2s? Not sure.

They are so quiet inside, capable and powerful. I lifted ours. Installed my Tacoma trd OR front coilovers onto the Lexus. OME 895e rear springs.

    This and that...
Wildpeaks may last a bit longer too if that is a deciding factor. They come with a 55,000 mile tread warranty... Also, BFGs are a pain to balance and keep the tread wear even. I have nothing against the traction on the BFGs but the wildpeaks seem to stop sooner when sliding on ice. Here in CO there are a lot of packed snow roads that stay that way all winter. Deep snow the bfgs were great though. Wildpeaks do look good too.

Edit: Price was a big deciding factor too.

Oh for sure! I know all about the Lexus's capabilities and jealous of some aqaintences GX's. I was just mentioning the guys I know (in Lexus) aren't running Wildpeaks. If wifey didn't need a commuter vehicle we would be in a GX most definitely.

Fuck it, commute in the Lexus, my wife does 80 miles round trip for work, same as me.

I needed her to have better tires than street tires so she can come yank me out when I inevitably do something dumb and get stuck.

Nice snag. My price comment was kind of referring to a "new" comparison.

Ah! I took that as you don't see a lot of modded Lexus.

Gawd, I hate that is the plural of them.

Oh fuck that, they depreciate so fast its nuts to buy them new imo and theres a ton of soccer moms riding around in leased ones. We picked up one under 30000 miles, fresh off lease, still with factory warranty.

Sick! Even with no locker, I am confident the GX470 is more capable offroad than my Taco.

If it were up to me! She's pretty fucking frugal  to the point where I'm like "just get the toilet paper that is 33 cents cheaper and let's get the hell out of the grocery store" :ballchain:
