Installed Depo "pro-style" tails last night. Getting rid of as much chrome as possible. My OR tail lights didn't have the darker bezel like the newer ORs seem to have and they had to go. Liking them so far.

LOL me neither...No Mr. Service manager guy, I did not put 5:29's with ARB lockers, compressor, CBI skids, and Rock Sliders, bed stiffeners, and a S&B intake on it 5 months after I bought it. You guys did all that from the factory, like you did the ARB/OME lift, TRD rims and 33in tires...I thought. I have no idea what your talking about.

Nope, found it open box for $408 drivinautosound.com. It’s brand new.
I pieced together all the required wiring from various sites.

I've been there. You'll be good if you have a good relationship with your service guy. I have lifted a few and never an issue with warranty claims because my service dude knew I worked on my truck and could prove its not lift related (like my leaking passenger diff seal on my 11, etc.). However I have seen people up sh*ts creek without a paddle with dealers/techs not willing to take the time and blaming the mods. And for me, I'm a full time student / suburb dweller now, no need for that stuff right at this point for the truck. I've also noticed Toyota taking a tougher stand on warranty claims as of late, just look how many they denied or had sign waivers for the TSS radar TSB that were lifted or had Pro grilles.

Yeah it definitely is a project. I still have to replace the Tacoma side badges with black ones I bought, and need to do something about the grill trim. I'm not going to mess with the headlights because money. So it won't really be completely blacked out.

Ya I have a good relationship with the dealer, it also helps that I can flex my "I've been a professional technician for over 20 years" clout on them if I need too. Most of the service people all have done a lot of mods on their rigs as well, so they get it. Plus I actually did buy it from them new with the lift, rims and tires on it, so they can't say crap about that part.

It’s the angle on the hill. The back is about 1/2 inch higher than the front. I bought the full kit with an extra leaf. I will most likely add the extra leaf when I install the new rear bumper

Here's what I did to my 3rd Gen Tacoma today............., tried to get out of it after getting in it.
Apparently it was cold enough for the actuator in the door lock not to function properly and it stayed in the locked position. No function of the interior door handle, nada! I pressed lock and unlock repeatedly thinking that might work......, nope!
Power window was frozen so couldn't get the window down to use the exterior door handle even after beating on the window trying to break the ice that sealed the window.
So now I'm sitting here using four letter explicatives while looking at my glass breaker and a can of spray de-icer in the passenger door drink holder thinking bad thoughts and just how useful that de-icer would be in a frozen solid vehicle. The glass breaker was a non starter.
Well after running the heater for 10 minutes with the blower on full blast and getting the interior so hot that I wanted to strip down to my civies I finally got the window down and was able to use the exterior door handle.
That's what I did to my Tacoma today.

Two revelations came to light after this ordeal. First of all a can of de-icer locked in a frozen solid Tacoma is as useful as a teat on a Tomcat......DUHH!
And second, I need a garage!! :annoyed:

Honest question...does de-icer freeze? I would hope not. I might move mine to one of the bed cubbies for this reason.
