Agh..... Too much traffic in Franklin. It outgrew its charm years ago. Everything is more expensive too. They price gouge the folks with money.

    OOOOH battle!!!!!!!

Uh....yup. Lived in the Marina district for 6 years (when I built Cal Memorial Stadium at Berkley, a 18 story high rise on Market and 9th, and a 5 story apt building at the end of the 101 in SF) and then LA for 4 more. Before that, south bay (Los Gatos), before that Santa Cruz.....(where I was born at Dominican Hospital). Santa Cruz turned into another shithole part of california btw. Used to be a bad ass place to live when I was growing up there. To bad it all went to shit.

Pretty sure I know Cali like the back of my hand, and exactly what I am talking about. I have every right to judge that state....

Edit: And yeah, pretty sure I'm not making this up....

Not as bad as that, but HI has a bad homeless problem too. I think a major issue (aside from policy and laws) is that in places like that, there is no incentive to get off the streets. No one freezes to death in the winter there. We have a problem here too but at least we get a reprieve in the winter.

Current nightmare. Cherry bar area. Client keeps saying rustic but doesnt want rustic so this is what we have. Custom cherry door ( withfoster dog since found a home) cherry slab for main top with copper for bar sides and working top.

Also did all the tile in the room, nothing like patterned tile that gives you whole boxes of the same pattern.

He uses the word rustic when he was describing what he wanted. Show actual barn wood and asked if I could sand it smooth. Continues to call this look rustic.

Love the Boise area as a whole. Not sure I could sell my wife on it (she's never been). I was up there 3-4x a month for the last 3 years.

Just moved away from Reno and miss it. Starting to turn into CA though with all the people leaving the bay area.
