No....they'll just migrate to the Front Range in Colorado, Jackson Hole WY, Bozeman MT, Kalispel MT..... and the cancer metastasizes.

 

I've seen/heard them in training exercises a few times at NTC. Awesome. I'll never forget the brrrraaaaappppp! I've not got up close to one until earlier ths year. Glad to see it survives and will carry on for another decade at least.

 

I love the sound of them, especially on a run. Very effective against small pickups and motorcycles.

 

1 Dead, 3 Injured In Ore. Shopping Center Stabbing Spree

Police say a 20-year-old man (Salvador Martinez-Romero) is in custody after allegedly carrying out a deadly stabbing spree in Oregon. Local police officers and the Washington County Major Crimes Team responded Wednesday to reports of an attempted robbery at a Wells Fargo bank inside a shopping center in Beaverton. Shortly after, they received another call of a stabbing at a Planet Fitness next door.

“The suspect in this case stole a car afterwards and drove out of the area,” announced Officer Matt Henderson, Beaverton Police Department. “I can report at this time that the suspect has been captured and is no longer a danger to the public.”

Authorities say two women were attacked inside of the bank and two others were stabbed as the suspect stole both of their cars in separate attempts. One of the women, stabbed in the bank, succumbed to her wounds. Police say the other victims were taken to the hospital with one in critical condition and two with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

The city’s mayor spoke at a press conference to convey his sympathy.

“First I’d like to express my sincere condolences to the victims, families, and innocent bystanders, employees and others affected by today’s tragic incident,” said Mayor Denny Doyle. “Situations of this magnitude are alarming and unsettling, especially in a tight knit community like Beaverton.”

A Wells Fargo spokesperson said the woman killed was a member of the bank, and also said the company would continue to work with police and provide counseling to employees.

California girl seen crashing stolen empty plane into building, fence at airport



A small plane can be seen going in a circle before crashing into a fence and building Wednesday at a central California airport as part of a teenager's alleged joyride.

Around 7:30 a.m., a 17-year-old girl climbed a fence topped with barbed wire at the Fresno Yosemite International Airport and started up the Air 200 propeller-driven aircraft, according to the airport.

"The aircraft then began to move and pivot and crashed into a building and a fence on airport property," the airport said in a statement. "The aircraft never became airborne, and there was no fire."

California Lacrosse Coach Arrested for Alleged Sex Acts with 14-Year-Old Boy



A lacrosse coach at California high school has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sex acts with a 14-year-old boy.

The coach, Bijan Nikroo II of Simi Valley High School, was arrested on Monday on charges of having oral sex with a person under 16 and luring and soliciting a child via a computer, according to the Ventura County Star.

“Authorities said the investigation began Friday when a child abuse investigation was launched by a school resource officer. The officer completed a preliminary investigation and submitted a crime report to the Simi Valley Police Department’s Major Crimes Bureau, authorities said.”
