You guys crack me up for real! How many times do I have to tell you that it sure wasnt me I dont drink at all never have never will! So I cleaned up others mess! I didnt ask anyone to make it they are full grown adult men, why is it that u guys are nailing me for actions that I had nothing to do with???? I hate alcohol and drugs and am a bit of a straight edge! I cleaned up their mess yes I dont agree with it but like I previously stated there were quite a few people that brought their party to my camp I went to bed, woke up and cleaned it the second I saw it. I also chewed their asses for it also! So my point is because it was next to my truck I get all these people hating on me??? How is that fair?? Hmmm pouring gasoline on the sand and lighting it on fire is ok? Or throwing beer cans and trash and burning it is ok also??? I saw alot of that when I made my rounds this year!!!

So would you please not associate me with the drinking and drunks, the people that were with me I didnt bring this year and I didnt let the ones that were with me do that crap!

Dont be so quick to point the finger if you personally dont know the story first hand!

Well crap! I guess I'm not including a link to this thread in my thank you emails to all the event sponsors.......:(

I'm still working on my trip report/thank you post, but I'd rather not put it in this thread. If someone could start another thread for the trip report/pics (without the drama), that would be great! I know it will be a pain for you guys/gals to repost your pics/vids in another thread, but you guys were great and have some awesome pics/vids and I would love to send a link to the vendors/sponsors.

As for what's going on here, I don't know what to say or if I even should say anything. One thing I will say, please take down those pics from last year! There was nothing like that at all this year, and that's the last thing we need is for the greenies to use those against us or for those to pop up in a google search of "pismo jamboree" (yes, the rangers do know how to use the computer and read all this and we now have to get a special event permit approved for next year, so we don't need pics like that posted). Also, FYI, everyone did a damn good job of picking up their camp! The camp was definitely cleaner on Sunday afternoon than it was when I got there and staked it out Thursday afternoon. So kudos to all you! :D I walked the camp on Sunday afternoon and found very little trash and what I did find appeared to be old trash from before our camp being there.

For the raffle stuff, I apologize, we are still learning how to effectively run all this, so what might seem like a great idea before we do the raffle, ends up not being a great idea once you hear it from the attendees' perspectives. We learn stuff every year doing this and make notes on how to make it better and more fun for us all. This was our 8th year of having a pismo jamboree, but only the 4th year of doing the raffle, games, prizes, etc... 5 years ago, (the 3rd jamboree), there were only 10 vehicles, so we've come a long way in 4 years!

Now if someone could get that other thread started so you all could repost your pics/vids/trip reports, that would be awesome!

    Thanks,
    Chris

Thank you for all your hard work with this event. I can't wait to come back next year and hopefully bring a few more friends along. I had a awesome time and met a lot of great people at the event that I hope to wheel with again soon.

Dude I had a Tundra for about 8 months on TW before I got the Tacoma. I was heavily involved with organizing the meets for TW too.

I've never met you, but you seem like a cool guy for everything you did setting up/helping out at Pismo. The way I see it, is there are, what, 2-3 people that are arguing with you, and you get all pissy about that. You've already defended yourself in multiple posts in this thread, if someone else has something to say about you, you can ignore them, point them to your previous posts or take it to PM's.

You're more than welcome to stick around, we've got people on here that contribute too that do not own a Tacoma. After all, we're all Toyota fans. Cheers brotha  <-- your's is apple juice, since you said you don't drink.
