I must be getting old, that entire post was 3 sentences. Good God....

In all seriousness though the GFC isn’t RV like at all. It’s a truck cap and a RTT. The only RV thing about it is a place to sleep. I liked mine but wanting something “RV like” is literally the exact words my wife and I used when discussing selling it and moving on. That said you’ll stay warm and dry and we thought our bed (we had an early model with 3” of foam” was super comfortable. We’d love to see your build out because there is potential to make it more RV like with some work. If you’re gonna “live” in it I’d make a roof top fan a pretty high priority. Good luck with it looking forward to hearing your feedback (this is the internet but there is zero sarcasm in that statement).

I wouldn’t mind paying 1/2 for the gfc upfront either. I just rather not have them have 3k loan from me before they even do anything for a year.

Ya that was the plan I was going to add those topper ez lift to it I got a protable sink with hot water, a propane oven and stove off a boat, got a trailnest hammock stand for the roof and a out door projector screen the topper ez lift was to make it go higher so I can add a dyi trampoline swing and put it across the top of the frame on on a trolley beam and use a titian solor generator to power everything and my mom has the water thing that heats up water so pretty fast so I was gonna buy one and add that to the kitchen set up at this point i just want to build it since i thought about the build forever

I wouldn't trust GFC with $3,000 of mine. They seem like the type of company to get overworked and break apart like Pelfreybilt. Just my $.02 though.

Idk if it will work but one of my ideas go to youtube n look up hallmark dyi trampoline swing chair the use the small 40 inch ones since I was going to attach it to the topper ez lift I was going to use the tie off point from the bed rail I know u think it sounds dum but you'll see I spent a year designing the set up to be able to have a place to kick it in side

Can you clarify the purpose of the trolly? Won't it be cramped back there already with a 40" diameter chair? I mean, clearly we're talking about a long bed here right?

More than likely I will have to cut n weild the back part of the swing so it wont be a complete circle the trolley so it can slide back and forth n I'll be able to use it with out it hitting the side of the bed as far as how cramped it will be idk all I have are ideas and once I start the build I probly have to tweak somethings

I'm not sure the lift is designed to support shifting weight, when you get to swinging in your chair it might collapse. Have you asked them about whether it will support such forces? And mounting the GFC on the lift will likely take away the Go Fast part.

It seems like you are spending a lot to get something that won't do well what you want of it. I understand that you've put a lot of thought into the setup but it might be better to shift gears and change before you invest a lot of time, money and effort you won't get a return on in 6 months when you decide you really need a slide in.

A GFC is not what you want to live in full time. Trying to rig shit up with a topper lift and a hanging chair is probably an even worse idea.

Ya its probably not the smartest idea but fuck see what happens the lift holds 900lbs they are attached to the bed rail and then screwed in to the bed so pretty much I'm just go rig it up n see what happens at this point I just need the topper ez lift if it dont work the worse can happen the camper falls an I fuck up my bed but shit at this point I'm just trying see it thought
